On behalf of the members of Michigan ACORN, I would like to invite you to participate in ACORN's National Convention which will be hosted in Detroit for the first time in ACORN's 38 year history.  The event will take place at Cobo Hall with over 2,500 ACORN members from around the country.  There will be dynamic speakers, workshops, actions and energy.  Please consider joining us and supporting ACORN and our local Michigan chapter.

ACORN National Convention 2008

Location: Cobo Hall
Lodging: Wayne State University
Convention begins Saturday, June 21 at 7pm and closes Monday, June 23 at 1pm

Ways to Participate

• Full participation, including housing and meals at Wayne State University and banquet admission: $500 per person
• Full participation without housing: $300 per person
• Awards Banquet only - Sunday, June 22nd at 7pm at Cobo Hall - $35
• Monday rally with Senator John Edwards and march to stop foreclosures (8:30am at Cobo Hall - Free with pre-registration)
